Pour relier Aigues-Mortes aux Alpilles, le g727 2025 traversera la Camargue. Voici quelques photos après notre dernière reconnaissance, entre étangs et mer, dans un plat pays sans cesse changeant et aux couleurs éblouissantes. Petites routes, digues le long du petit et grand Rhône (interdites aux véhicules motorisés mais pas au vélos), pistes, un ou deux brefs secteurs sableux, avant de se retrouver au cœur d’Arles.

La première journée sera peu exigente côté dénivelé, avec pour seule difficulté le classique départ à travers la Gardiole.

Aujourd’hui, c’était reco de POU100K. Temps gris, doux, terrain un peu gras. J’ai pris peu de photos. Ça roulait un peu fort (pour moi). Moyenne à un peu plus de 20km/h (ce qui est notre critère pour valider une trace gravel). 1200 d+ La trace 100K commence et termine exactement de la même façon que la 100M (qui aura donc 60km de plus, et 1000 de d+ supplémentaires). Donc 5h de roulage et environ 1h de pose pour grignoter et autres regroupements.

Sur le 100M, je pense rouler max à 18km/h avec 2h de pose en gros, donc il me faudra entre 11h et 12h.

Il reste des places pour le samedi et trois places pour le dimanche.

Orgie de singles entre Sommières et la plaine camarguaise. Durant 45 km ça tourne et retourne, avec seulement de courtes transitions. Guère possible de rouler à plus de 10 km/h sur ce secteur. Un grand plaisir de pilotage, sans que ça soit trop technique.
